Since 1872, Robert Herder has produced knives in the German Solingen according to traditional methods. The renowned knives are sharpened in a "Solinger Dunnschliff" way, this is a way of very thin sharpening. The result of this sharpening is that the knives very thin and sharp. That is why Robert Herder knives are still very appreciated.
In our collections you find amongst others the typical "Windm¨hlermesser" both carbon and stainless steel, with wooden or resin (diswasher safe) handles, as well as butter knives and extra large bread knives.
